Desert Specie: Saguaro Cactus

Saguaro Cactus

Saguaro Cactus

I came across the saguaro cactus. The cactus is found in Arizona and can grow up to 50 feet! It’s a plant that depends on precipitation therefore it can take a very long time to grow. For instance it can take up to 75 years just to develop the side arms. The beauty of this cactus is it’s flowers. The flowers are cream in colour and grow up to 3 inches wide. This plant is dangerously beautiful!
