Floral arrangements for the weekend’s weddings in Montréal
A very busy weekend here at O.xide, one that reflects very well the rest of our summer!
Marie and Derek celebrated their wedding at Laprairie’s Espace Rive-Sud last Saturday. I had a lot of fun creating floral arrangements for these clients who came all the way from California. We love working with clients from out of town and it’s so easy to do so with our setup!
Tones of whites, greens and yellows: the style of this wedding was very romantic. We used white dahlias, white and green hydrangeas, Queen Ann’s lace, yellow kangaroo paws and varigated pittosporum, a combination that I really love!
The wedding of Valérie and Ceasar also took place at Laprairie’s Espace Rive-Sud last Saturday. Having also a deconstructed and romantic look in mind, this couple wanted a combination of coral, white and black.
A mix of white and coral dahlias, white and coral hydrangeas, white and coral spray roses, black ribbons and branches were used to achieve their concept. The color coral is so trendy this year, which is great because it’s part of our colour palette!
We created Mylène and Paul‘s floral arrangements for their wedding at Hudson’s Whitlock Golf Club Saturday.

We are staying again in a wilder look with tones of light pink and green hydrangeas, pink dahlias and light pink spray roses. So simple yet beautiful, as if we picked the flowers ourselves in a field!
Saturday’s last wedding was Nicole and Michael‘s who got married at the Nelligan Hotel in Old-Montreal.

Pink, pink and more pink! There was a lot of pink, except for the centerpieces which were made by using a ring of white hydrangeas surrounding a vase with a candle inside.
The bridal bouquet and boutonnières were an explosion of pink! Light pink cymbidium orchids, light pink hydrangeas, dark pink spray roses and pink roses, a stunning blend of flowers!
Lisa and Daniel celebrated their wedding at Laprairie’s Espace Rive-Sud on Sunday. They wanted an Asian-feel so the colors red and white were the stars of these floral arrangements.
With the use of white cymbidium orchids, red arachnis orchids, white hydrangeas and red ribbon, we achieved a very modern look. The couple requested a special touch for the bridal bouquet and the groom’s boutonnière, so we incorporated the loops of bear grass, which they simply loved!
We ended the weekend with Vincci and Jason’s wedding who also got married at Laprairie’s Espace Rive-Sud.
We were asked to create their centerpieces; a simple mix of white hydrangeas and purple orchids, the couple’s favorite flowers!
Congratulations to last week’s six couples and have yourselves a great week, see you soon for more adventures!
