Je ne me souviens pas de la dernière fois que j’ai utilisé le mufflier avant de créer ce beau bouquet pour ma salle à manger!

On oublie parfois d’utiliser certaines fleurs puisqu’elles ne sont pas ”tendance”, mais il ne faut jamais oublier que peu importe la variété, lorsqu’elles sont regroupées en bon nombres et dans la même teinte, elles sont magnifiques!

J’aime jouer à redécouvrir et apprendre à aimer certaines fleurs que je n’ai pas touché depuis plusieures années, avez-vous des suggestions pour moi?

Here are some very feminine arrangements we created for a wonderful private diner party in Montreal!

We are simply in love with these pink peonies, purple double stocks, purple alliums and fushia dendrobium orchids.
To have two levels in the big arrangement creates many interesting things to look at: the flowers inside the vase and those on top.

Lovely … and we had the chance to work with Traiteur Primavera, even better!

We made these cute little arrangements for a cocktail party at HEC Montreal a couple weeks ago.
We love how colorful and juicy they look with the mini-green hydrangeas, orange gerberas and little yellow craspedia balls. A great way to give a pop of color without going overboard.
Perfect for this beautiful sunny day!

Fundraiser for the Montreal Jewish General Hospital at the Hillsdale Golf course

Last monday, we worked in collaboration with Marsha Brumer from MB Events to create a wonderful decor for a fundraiser for the Montreal Jewish General Hospital at the Hillsdale Golf course in Mirabel.

Our department was, or course, the flowers!
Marsha started by giving us a guideline of a black, white and red color pallet including stripes and polka-dot patterns. We wanted to create something fun and elegant using round white boxes and black and white flowered ones to add another interesting pattern to the mix, we finished it of with tones of red arachnis orchids coming out. We simply love the playful look of it all!
The final product looks incredible, the decor and flowers go hand in hand, great job Marsha!

I had the funniest phone call yesterday morning!

Sabrina, our bride from last weekend (pictures to come) gave me a call directly from her honeymoon in Barbados to have me prepare a bouquet for her mother’s birthday!

I ran to my supplier and grabed these stunning 3 feet tall purple alliums and blue delphiniums which I paired with monstera leaves to finish the bouquet.

Her mommy was so happy, she didn’t expect it at all, what a nice surprise!

Ces fleurs me font tout à fait penser à un généreux bol de sorbet!
J’ai créé cet arrangement pour mon amie France avec l’eau à la bouche.
De sublimes pivoines et hydrangées roses accompagnés de choux décoratifs et chrysanthemes verts dans un bol blanc, de quoi faire rêver!

We have designed a very organic look for Julie and Ari’s Sunday wedding and thought we would share it with you before the big day this weekend!

The bride LOVES moss so we decided to incorporate it in everything, she also loves green with a small pop of color.
Our work is usually created in clear glass vases, but not for this one, we had to bring more warmth and more of a natural feel to the designs. We chose to go with a more traditional clay pot which we will wrap in an accordeon leaf for a more organic look. Curly willow branches and lots of salal leaves will also join the party.

We can’t wait to see the final product, stay posted for the pictures!

Eco-friendly Flower Arrangements Design

Eco Friendly themed flower arrangement

I was recently put to the challenge to create a glamourous, yet eco-friendly design for a very green couple getting married at the Montreal’s Science Center.
After much thought, I came up with the use of huge white phalaenopsis plants resting on top of a tall cylinder vase with river rocks at the bottom, a floating light green hydrangea and a tall branch of curly willow coming out of the top. I simply figured that instead of having flowers that would be thrown away a couple days later, they could at least keep those plants as long as they can take care of them!
We always try to use and re-use as much of the flowers we can in a project so there is no waste, I think the plants are a great idea in that sens!

Last weekend was Jessica & Jesse’s wedding, and boy did this one smell good!

Getting married in the perfect season for lilac, this was the bride’s first request: lilacs, lilacs and more lilacs! What a feast for the senses, magnificent colors, shapes and scent. We used along with the lilacs some beautifull blue thistles, blue delphiniums, purple mokara orchids, salal leaves and curly willow.

What a dreamy color pallett, we love it, congratulations to the happy couple!
