This soooo reminds me of my childhood, I was obsessed with arts & crafts and always used tones of those colorful pipe cleaners.
What a creative, and mostly, appropriate idea for a candy themed wedding, love it! Can’t stop smiling, these people are so cool!
I came across this wooden carpet and thought a carpet made of wood seems really uncomfortable! Elisa Strozyk the young designer behind this carpet found a new textile. She combines wood and fabric. Elisa is known for using wooden textiles and creating lamps, chairs and carpets. If your wondering the carpet is created with pieces of laser cut veneer that is bonded onto fabric, making the carpet easy to transport. Elisa has found a new look at material!

What an honor it was to work with the best of the best on this Style me pretty photoshoot!
When our dear friend Azar from Principal Planner approached us to create the floral designs for this awesome photoshoot, we screamed YES! It is not every day you get the opportunity to be featured on one of the best wedding blogs out there … what an achievement for us, we are so proud.
The whole process started with an inspiration board we had to portray in our designs, the colors being white, black and light blue with a vintage flare. After hours of brainstorming and shopping with Azar, ”From Paris With Love” came to life! We used white and blue hydrangeas, stunning white roses, white dahlias, white peonies, black callas and white astilbe. Along with Azar’s breathtaking design of the room, the result is amazing and Davina + Daniel were there to capture all this greatness!
Thank you again Azar for choosing us amongst all the sensational vendors you picked, working with you is always crazy fun!

Have you seen anything like this? Australian architect Chris Bosse designs are captivating. I saw this piece and I was stunned. Bosse was educated in the art of architecture in Germany and Switzerland. His work is very futuristic and organic, This specific chair is physically carved out of a sliced box. When I first saw it I thought it was made of neon wired lights. Currently this piece is being featured at the powerhouse museum in Sydney, Australia until October 10th, 2010. I would love to see this in reality!

Simple white calla bouquets …
I love the look of these pictures, from the weathered look of the wall, to the cement floor, to the lovely brading of the bouquets I sketch and Gen recreated. No cazy designs, just flowers at their pure state and a little touch of style.
It’s all about the details when you want to make something simple special!
Here are MaryAnn and Eric’s centerpieces!
As I mentionned last friday, MaryAnn LOVES butterflies and wanted them incorporated in the centerpieces. We thought tying them to branches inside the vase and laying them on the flowers would look lovely, and it did. The colors were awesome, it truely was a girly girl flower concept!
Working with Karen Ortizo, the wedding planner, was great, hope to do it again soon!

Si vous vous souvenez, nous avions à nos débuts un tout petit espace fermé dans lequel nous pouvions parfaitement travailler. Je vous assure qu’avec une moyenne de 2 à 3 mariages par weekend et Michelle qui s’est joint à nous cet été les fleurs nous sortait par les oreilles dans ce mini local, nous avons donc complètement envahi le garage ainsi que l’espace extérieur du bâtiment! Il y a des fleurs partout et on adore!

Un immense merci à nos nouveaux collègues et amis chez Principal Planner, Marsha Brumer Events et Altitude Concepts qui ont permis de faire de cette année un succès monstre! À toutes ceux et celles qui ont entendu parlé de nous, ou bien qui sont tombé sur notre site web ou notre Blog et qui ont décidé de nous faire confiance avec leurs événements les plus chers, ce fût un honneur. Vous avez vu nos boules de santinis verts la semaine dernière pour notre projet au Marché Bonsecours, voici une autre façon d’utiliser ces charmantes petites sphères vertes!
J’ai simplement planté quelques gerberas dans l’éponge florale, sur le dessus de la boule, celle-ci se transformant en vase pour les gerberas roses foncé …
Mignon, non! Parfait pour un shower ou même une fête d’enfants!
Nous avons créé ces arrangements pour un événement de la Banque du Canada qui eut lieu à la salle Belvedere du Centre des Sciences de Montréal.
Avec les hauts plafonds et le look brut et industriel de cette salle, nous avons tout de suite pensé à utiliser nos troncs de bouleaux. Un magnifique impact! Le blanc et vert des arrangements nous permet de garder l’intégrité de la pureté et la simplicité de l’environnement, quelques hydrangées blancs, feuilles d’accordéons, de monsteras et tiges de santinis verts ont suffit.
Il est toujours bien de créer en fonction du décor existant lorsqu’on travaille dans de si beaux endroits!
