She looks so comfy and pretty making these 20 millions carnation balls! It was a long day but the result was great, I’m sure she dreamed of flower balls that night …

Si vous vous souvenez, nous avions à nos débuts un tout petit espace fermé dans lequel nous pouvions parfaitement travailler. Je vous assure qu’avec une moyenne de 2 à 3 mariages par weekend et Michelle qui s’est joint à nous cet été les fleurs nous sortait par les oreilles dans ce mini local, nous avons donc complètement envahi le garage ainsi que l’espace extérieur du bâtiment! Il y a des fleurs partout et on adore!

O.xide célèbre ses 3 ans en affaire et cette merveilleuse journée est dédiée à vous, nous fidèles lecteurs et à vous nos chers clients et amis.
Nous tennons à vous remercier, vous qui vous êtes abandonnés à une toute petite compagnie qui n’avait pas encore fait son nom et qui nous ont permis d’évoluer et de tranquillement nous faire une petite place dans le monde des fleurs à Montréal. À Traiteur Primavera, PriceWaterHouseCoopers, La Caisse Populaire Desjardins Cité du Nord et Telegraphe qui sont avec nous depuis nos débuts, merci pour votre loyauté. Un immense merci à nos nouveaux collègues et amis chez Principal Planner, Marsha Brumer Events et Altitude Concepts qui ont permis de faire de cette année un succès monstre! À toutes ceux et celles qui ont entendu parlé de nous, ou bien qui sont tombé sur notre site web ou notre Blog et qui ont décidé de nous faire confiance avec leurs événements les plus chers, ce fût un honneur. Pour terminer, un remerciement spécial à nos familles, conjoints et amis pour leur patience et encouragements dans les bons et mauvais moments, nous vous aimons!
Nous entammons donc cette 4ième année sur une note des plus positive, les plus belles années avec O.xide sont à venir!
Luca Porcelli and Maurizio Duranti take an interesting twist to furniture. Their approach to design is obviously not traditional. The two designers are based in Milan, most of their pieces are made to measure or one of a kind. The designers choose to use graffiti, silk, leather, wood, baroque, manga and steel as materials, therefore they work with a bit of everything and create unique pieces. Their designs are a combination of their self-expression and their client needs. Porcelli and Duranti believe in having fun with their work and ideas coming naturally. This certainly shows through their work.

J’adore le choix des couleurs pour la salle, l’utilisation de fleurs vertes était simplement naturel avec cette palette de couleur. Le jeu de transparence, de superposition et de forme donne un look très moderne mais sympatique en même temps. Les callas verts étaient tout simplement sublimes, plus beaux que je ne l’ai ait jamais vus, et les boules de santinis verts sont toujours si jolies!
Un autre succès, excellent travaille de Mme Davidson pour le choix du décor et du nouvel emplacement!

Michelle : our new team member!
Today is a very special day at O.xide as we are welcoming our very first employee to the team; my sister Michelle!
Michelle is very creative and has 5 years experience in the flower buisness, the perfect addition to our little group! It will be great to get some help since O.xide has been exploding with new contracts this year, it is truly a dream come true, and to have family take part of this amazing journey is priceless. I just took her, a couple hours ago, to our flower supplier to show her how it’s done when you go and pick-up an order, which is one of the many things she will be helping us with this summer.
I took these pictures with my iPhone to immortalize the moment, I feel like a mom! Lol

My turn, my turn! I’m so excited to share those Amélie Cousineau creations with you!
So much fun to let loose and play around while she captures and immortalises every emotion! We couldn’t stop laughing when she suggested I do the ’’Céline Dion’’ superstar pose, it turned out so great, I still have a smile on my face when I look at it! Lol
This was an amazing experience for me, it builds up your self confidence and makes you feel great about yourself, I definitely recommend it to all you ladies out there, go for it and most importantly have fun doing it!
